Will Tisdale named 2017 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar

Will was named one of 13 new recipients of the Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award. Criteria for selection include “an independent body of scholarship attained in the early years of their appointment and a demonstrated commitment to education, signaling the promise of continuing outstanding contributions to both research and teaching.” Read the MIT News Story.

Jolene defends PhD thesis!

Congratulations to the very first Tisdale Lab Ph.D. thesis recipient, Jolene Mork! On Monday, Jolene successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis in Physical Chemistry, titled “Exploring Excitations and Vibrations in Semiconductor Nanocrystals through Fluorescence and Raman Spectroscopy”. Congratulations Jolene!
